General, trauma & Minimal access surgery

Emergency G.I. Endoscopy

The center is equipped with OLYMPUS VIDEO ENDOSCOPE for managing acute G.I emergencies like endoscopic sclerotherapy and banding for bleeding oesophageal varices and bleeding duodenal ulcer. Foreign bodies in stomach can be retrived by endoscope. Early screening of esophageal and gastric malignancies can be made at early stage without causing delay in referring to tertiary center.

Medical emergencies

Medical Emergencies like acute M.I , acute ischemic stroke can be thrombolysed in the ICU set up with the availability of infusion pumps, invasive BP monitoring and multiparamonitors and defibrilators. Unknown and organophosphorous poisoning, which is very common in this region are well managed with the help of high grade ventilators.

Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery

The center is equipped with HIGH FREQUENCY DIGITAL C-ARM and IIU, which is a must for management of poly trauma and multiple fractures. Bone injuries which require immediate intervention like fracture spine with paraplegia, fracture pelvis retroperitoneal haematoma, fracture femur with vascular injury can be managed well by C- ARM.

Neurosurgery

The hospital is running a full fledge neurosurgical setup. Neurosurgical emergencies after road side accidents like SDH, EDH, intra cerebral bleed, etc. are managed in the hospital without causing delays.
